Facing the Moment: Healing Community Trauma (Ep. 1)

PARTS & SELF in partnership with the Foundation for Self Leadership is pleased to announce the new podcast series, “Facing the Moment.” This podcast centers on IFS-inspired insights and actions by means of exploring the multiple crises confronting each of us today. The conversations address how—specifically—we can move forward with resilience, hope, and meaning in challenging and changing times.

This episode, titled “Healing Community Trauma,” showcases Aizaiah Yong, PhD. Aizaiah has more than 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, award-winning scholarship, providing psycho-spiritual care, and international public speaking. He is an ordained pentecostal minister and currently serves as executive director of Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research at Saint John’s Abbey and University. A faith-based organization rooted in the Benedictine tradition, the Institute’s mission is to bring together people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives in order to foster the world’s healing through the power of religious ideas, insights, and practices.
